Chief Marketing & Revenue Management Officer at Trenitalia. Team builder, perseverant, systemic, has always worked to innovate the travel experience.
Describe yourself in one adjective.
Strategic.

Innovation.
What values guide your choices every day?
Collaboration, empathy, sustainability, trust.
What job did you dream of doing as a child?
Exactly what I do today. I can say I’ve realized the dream I had back then: working in business.
What’s the achievement you’re most proud of as a manager?
Seeing the people on my team grow and reach important goals. As for projects, I’m particularly proud of having contributed at Trenitalia to the growth and evolution of the CartaFRECCIA loyalty program. Over time, it has become one of the pillars of the relationship between Trenitalia and its customers, transforming from a simple loyalty tool into an ecosystem of experiences, benefits, and strategic partnerships, at the service of a mobility that is more integrated, more digital, and closer to travelers.
Where have you failed in your career, and what did you learn from that experience?
Like any manager with a few years of experience, I’ve faced complex moments, mostly tied to the evolution of the transport sector and to digital transformation. I’ve drawn a clear lesson from them. To get through difficult moments, three things count: speed of adaptation, focus on the customer, and the ability to innovate.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve faced and overcome?
At Costa Crociere, during the Covid pandemic: first managing ships and passengers at the height of the emergency, then guiding a safe restart, one step at a time.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received, and who gave it to you?
Build a team you can trust, always.
What quality do you value most in people?
Integrity and professionalism.
Name a manager or entrepreneur you admire.
I find it hard to choose one. What I really admire is the widespread entrepreneurial spirit that runs through our country, and that has made us world leaders in many fields.
Who do you consider your mentor — the person you’ve learned the most from professionally?
I don’t like to name names. But the people I’ve met at the different companies I’ve worked for have taught me far more than, as a young Economics student, I could ever have imagined.
Name three brands you love.
Apart from the one I work for, I’d say Apple, Coca-Cola, and Nike.
